An ordained Elder of the WNCC, Tammy was appointed to Macedonia in 2016 after having served churches in Farmington, Weaverville, Trinity and Denton. She is a native of King William, Virginia and holds a BA in Religious Studies from VA Wesleyan College and a Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School. She has been married for 26 years and counting to David who is pastor of First Street UMC in Albemarle. They are parents of two grown children, Grace and Aaron, and proud in-laws of William.  Tammy also enjoys scrapbooking, cross-stitching, Cheerwine in a glass bottle, visiting historic cemeteries and spending time with her family in Disney World
